Check Aadhaar PAN Card Link Status Without Login to Income Tax Portal

1: Visit the Income Tax e-filing portal.
2: Under the heading ‘Quick Links’, click on ‘Link Aadhaar Status’.
3: Enter ‘PAN Number’ and ‘Aadhaar Number’ and click on the ‘View Link Aadhaar Status’ button.

A message regarding your Link Aadhaar Status will display upon successful verification. When your Aadhaar links with your PAN card the following message will be displayed: “Your PAN is already linked with the given Aadhaar” (as shown below).
When your Aadhaar-PAN link is in progress, the following message will be shown on the screen – “Your Aadhaar-PAN linking approver has sending to UIDAI for verification. Please check the status after by clicking on the link ‘Link Aadhaar Status’ on the home page.”

What happens if you fail to link your PAN with Aadhaar by June 30, 2023?

Under Rule 114AAA of the Income Tax Rules, if you fail to link your PAN with your Aadhaar, your PAN will become inoperative and you will be unable to provide, so disclose or use your PAN, and Will also be responsible for the result. Act. Some of the implications of this situation are as follows-

Check Aadhaar PAN Card Link Status by logging in to Income Tax Portal

Step 2: On the homepage, go to ‘Dashboard’ and click on the option ‘Link Aadhaar Status’.

PAN-Aadhaar linking was free till March 31, 2022. If you linked PAN-Aadhaar after March 31, 2022, but before June 30, 2022, a fine of Rs 500 was imposs. However, there is a penalty of Rs 1,000 for linking PAN with an Aadhaar card after June 30, 2022. In this way, if you link your Aadhaar with your PAN before June 30, 2023, you will have to pay a fine of Rs 1,000 first.
